FEMME ART : This pleasant young lady was singularly protesting some injustice to the world of ART and government funding that unfortunately escapes me at the moment. She was quietly standing at the busiest downtown street corner in Toronto, early in the morning hours of the festival evening. Ignored by the passing crowds, a silent protester until I could no longer resist the bait and I engaged her, of which she was enamored to tell me of her plight. (Her husband I discovered, who was keeping a watchful, but a healthy distance from her, was quite embarrassed by his wifes performance of public disobedience)
