Stv > My First Bird Shots : AF-100-400-APO lens The female just moments before, had just flown by the male that was perched 100 feet away, just inches from his beak, she had presented this twig for his inspection and approval, before she carefully placed it in the nest. Over a two hour period, she performed this ritual once more and the male repeated the action three more times. It is no wonder that this nest is the size of a hot tub!
