Steve Beland (Stv) > Segwun and Wenonah II : We vacationed nearby in a rented cottage about three miles straight back behind the ships, deep within the tree line on the horizon. The old steamers would pass by us in the distance, turning into the Narrows as they headed for the open lake and blow their powerful whistle. The white steam cloud would almost be dissipated before the blast of the high-pitched whistle even reached us. Gravenhurst, ON

This shot was taken at 4:26 a.m. during the Nuit Blanche Festival in downtown Toronto. This shy gentleman was performing on this street corner surrounded by a tightly packed silent crowd of at least 200 people. The crowd permitted me to slip into the scene down low and capture a few stolen moment's. I was grateful to have come away with this one grainy keeper shot.
Steve Beland (Stv) > HI MOM ! : The Holiday Inn parking lot, warming up to set out for a display ride at the Brigden Fair. Sarnia, ON
Steve Beland (Stv) > Steve: Thanx "arctangent, LindaDruijff, Littlespelk & fotoeffects". An interesting reaction to this particular image. I vacillated several times from the get-go on tossing this image out. That Fiberboard in the back come out a silver-white and I toned it down some.I only kept it to balance out the other bike shots in the gallery. I usually put the "dogs" at the end of the gallery.Go figure! Just goes to show how much/little I know about photography.
