These are the last images of the best examples of the remaining Tree Gnomes that still reside in the local wood. This ethereal community was once much, much larger. Alas, hapless victims of urban sprawl, vandalism, nature's ravage and the violence of the ubiquitous chainsaw have taken their toll. Fortunately, in archive I have photo captures on print film of the many other members of the enclave, now long since gone . Someday, when I have lots of time, ... I will scan the ghost photo's and post.
